Is Blue Grotto worth visiting?

The Blue Grotto is by far the most impressive, but the others are worth a quick peek. An hour and a half into the boat ride we arrived at the Blue Grotto. Unfortunately, there were well over 8 other boats, all containing about thirty people per boat, waiting in line to enter the grotto. We were going to be here awhile.

Why is the water so blue in Capri?

The bright azure color of the water inside the cave is due to the sunlight which enters the cavern through an underwater opening which is positioned exactly under the caves mouth. As the light passes through the water, the red reflections are filtered out and only the blue enter the cave itself.
