You can use your own box or UPS packaging supplies. Ideally, youll want to use a new corrugated box. UPS online shipping can help you complete your label. Make sure to place the label on top of the package and remove any old labels or cross out old markings.

Can you send any type of box in the mail?

For Retail Ground and First Class Mail, you can use any sturdy cardboard box. You dont have to use the USPS Priority Mail box. If your box has other stickers or logos other than the USPS logo for Priority Mail boxes, you can cross them out with a marker or cover them with your postage label.

Can I use a regular box to ship USPS?

You can order Priority Mail Flat Rate® Boxes from The Postal Store® for USPS shipping for free. If you do use an old box, remember to obliterate the barcodes, shipping information, and other markings with a thick, black marker.
