Question: Is it normal not to see anything at 7 week ultrasound?

Youre not going to be counting fingers and toes at this ultrasound; the embryo is simply too tiny for clear images to be detected. You may see the general shape of your baby or be able to tell something is there, but its also normal to not see anything that looks very much like a baby at all.

Is it normal not to show 7 weeks?

Lucky you! At week 7, youre still not showing yet. Most first-time pregnancies dont show until around week 12. If youve had previous pregnancies, you may show earlier as a result of stretching of the muscles in your uterus and belly.

Why is my baby not showing up on the ultrasound?

The most common reasons for a pregnancy not appearing on the ultrasound scan are: it is too soon to see the baby on the scan. you have had a miscarriage. the pregnancy is outside the womb (an ectopic pregnancy)
