Is 70 too cold for Crested Gecko?

A warm welcome to Geckos Unlimited! If cresties get no lower than about 67*F at night thats fine. The daytime range I use is 70-80 F. Perhaps a 15-25 watt old fashioned incandescent bulb would warm the cage a little.

How do I keep my crested gecko warm at night?

A lot of Crested gecko keepers have the most trouble keeping the temperatures warmer at night. For Crested Geckos, using a 25 watt bulb is usually the best choice. If a 25 watt bulb is adding too much heat, you can use a lamp stand to elevate the fixture farther away from the enclosure to dial in the temperature.
