How do you describe a creative mind?
A creative mind is the one that sees information – particularly from the world around it – and relates it to their experiences and existing knowledge in order to create.
Is being creative smart?
At low or average levels of mental ability, intelligence is highly correlated with creative ability; most peoples ability to complete creative thinking tasks corresponds with how smart they are. But among individuals with high mental ability, there is a very weak correlation with creativity.
Below an IQ level of 120, a correlation between IQ and creativity is observed, whereas no correlation is observed at IQ levels above 120. The basic idea of the threshold hypothesis means that high creativity requires high intelligence or above-average intelligence.
