Geisha is known for its sweet flavor and aroma of floral notes, jasmine, chocolate, honey, and even black tea. These sweet floral notes, and complex flavor profiles are some of the many characteristics that Geisha coffee shares with most other African coffees.

How can you tell if a coffee is Geisha?

Its easy to identify this hugely popular variety by the angle of the upper branches and the shape of the plant. The branches toward the top reach out to the sky at a 45 to 50° angle. Geisha/Gesha has a tall stature with long distances between branches and nodes and a thin trunk and branches, somewhat like Typica.
