Question: What is 1st week of pregnancy?

The first trimester begins on the first day of your last period and lasts until the end of week 12. This means that by the time you know for sure youre pregnant, you might already be five or six weeks pregnant! A lot happens during these first three months.

How do I calculate my first week of pregnancy?

Add 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period (assuming a 28-day cycle). Your menstrual period and ovulation are counted as the first two weeks of pregnancy.
